After an unfavorable experience, I went out on a limb and searched online for a good dentist in my area.TLC peaked my interest so I watched the introductory video and decided to give it a try. The entire experience was amazing.From the initial call to schedule an appointment to my actual visit….The staff was informative and friendly,attentive and knowledgeable. I was treated well and my issues addressed.Dr.Mathew was great and spent time talking with me about my concerns and treatment.Mya,the receptionist and assistant greeted me with a smile and made my time pass with many laughs and comforting gestures. I am glad I took the time to seek TLC, and proud to say TLC is my dentist choice.

This was my first visit to TLC Dental Spa. The assistant did a great job of taking my X-rays. Dr Anita Mathew was very thorough in evaluating my situation and explaining to me. The office was very professional and relaxing.

I saw Meghan, their hygienist and it was the most thorough and gentle cleaning I have ever had. She pays attention to every detail and makes sure I am comfortable. She is also the sweetest person and loves catching up with my personal life! It feels like talking to a best friend, highly recommend!

My first experience was like no other! I was giving a tour of the beautiful office and staff. I felt comfortable, the vibe was set so relaxing. I truly felt as if I had was a rich lady enjoying a day at the spa! I've been to alot of dental office, and this one is the best looking and put together office ever! If you have kids they have a place for kids to be comfortable. Staff was very nice as if I knew them all. Ms. Angela is like a mother away from home. Brittney the hygienist is very knowledgeable also took her time and walked me through my visits. at what she does. Dr Matthew's showed genuinely and exceptional care towards me. She acknowledged and addressed all my concerns and questions, is awesome and I personally feel as I have picked a great Dentist! I couldnt be more excited for my future visits. Great experience as always. Top notch staff! Fully explained everything that needed to be done and was sure that you were comfortable with the treatment plan. Top it with some laughing gas which I have never had before and you are good. I would recommend them to anyone. I make the hour drive for my dental work. Happy To Be Back & See Dr. Matthews!

A few years ago, I knew I needed to go to the dentist after not having gone consistently since I was in high school. I shopped around at several other offices in the Athens area, even going in for some consultations. Nowhere stood a chance against TLC Dental. During the initial visit, they did a thorough cleaning and analysis of my situation, complete with pictures, x-rays, and questions about my health and history. While other dentists rushed to tell me what they planned to do, the staff at TLC listened intently to my concerns and gave a detailed explanation of my dental health and what needed to happen in order of priority. They were able to address the most pressing concerns immediately and set me up with a long-term plan for care to get me back on track. At no point in the process did I feel pushed or pressured into any kind of treatment. The staff were patient in allowing me plenty of time to decide how I wanted to proceed. I just left a routine cleaning visit this morning and was reminded of how much I appreciate this business. Dr. Matthews herself performed my cleaning. She—like all of her staff—is gentle and calm when performing procedures and explaining what’s going on. She is knowledgable and professional, as you should expect from all healthcare providers. But her ability to clearly communicate this knowledge to her patients in a way that makes sense and feels personal is unmatched. You can tell how much work she has put into honing her skills and making her business absolutely top-notch. I am a pretty curious person and tend to ask questions about a lot of things. Some of my doctors seem annoyed or bothered by this, but Dr. Matthews and her staff seem to welcome and maybe even enjoy answering my questions, leading me to feel appreciated and important. Healthcare appointments always make me nervous, but this place does the opposite somehow. I feel calm and cared for while I am here, and I would highly recommend TLC Dental Spa to those looking for quality dental care around the Clarke/Oconee area.
